Being a young person in modern-day America is a demanding task. The spiritual battle for the youth of our nations souls is being waged with many young people unequipped to stand against the wiles of the Devil. With the various pressures teens and pre-teens face today it is critical that they have a working knowledge of God’s Word so that they may be able to “quench the fiery darts of the wicked” (Eph. 6:16). That is why we believe that it is essential that we edify the youth of the congregation and assist them as they seek to “grow in grace and in the knowledge of our lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18).
Below is a list of some of the activities that the youth group are engaged in throughout the year. Parents are not only welcome but encouraged to attend as well. Be sure to check the Calendar often for current and future events and activities.
◾Youth Devotionals – after evening worship on Sundays once a month throughout the year; check our Facebook page for updates
◾Youth Days – held at Northern Oaks Church of Christ and sister congregations in the summer
◾Hensel Bible Camp – held in the hill country outside of Marble Falls, TX in June each year
◾Vacation Bible School – held in July each year
◾Bible classes on Sunday morning and Wednesday night
